Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice to City Council and Senior Leadership
Negotiate and draft commercial and relationship agreements
Conduct legal research and prepare reports and opinions
Address legal issues to minimize risks for the City
Advise staff on legislation affecting City operations

Requirements:
Member in positive standing with the Law Society of Ontario
Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial law
Robust organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and negotiating abilities
Competence in using digital legal tools
