Join The Royal as a Psychologist focused on evidence-based treatments and program development for youth with mental health needs. This role demands clinical expertise and a passion for research. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you’ll provide assessment and therapy while leading initiatives to develop and evaluate the Youth Mental Health program.
Your role involves actively mentoring residents and students, participating in academic activities, and ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines in psychology practice. With a commitment to improving mental health services, your clinical research will aim for better outcomes for youth. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and therapeutic interventions for youth
Discuss treatment strategies with community service providers
Develop and evaluate youth mental health programs
Mentor psychology students and staff
Maintain ethical practice according to qualified guidelines Requirements:
Doctorate from a CPA/APA accredited program
Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
Experience in trauma-focused and evidence-based therapy
Leadership and mentorship experience
