Advance your nursing skills with Alberta’s Graduate Nurse Transition Pilot Program (GNTPP). This unique opportunity offers a supportive 12-month structure focused on current graduates. In this Registered Nurse role, you will participate in a two-phased program designed for your growth.

Phase 1 features enhanced orientation with a Clinical Guide and supernumerary work, while Phase 2 allows you to practice independently with ongoing mentor support. This program emphasizes holistic patient care and secure practices, preparing you for contemporary nursing challenges. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a variety of nursing services to patients and communities
Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients
Engage in critical thinking and decision making in care
Transition to independent practice with mentorship
Pursue suitable positions post-completion within AHS Requirements:
Completion of an accredited nursing program
Eligibility or current registration with CRNA
BCLS-HCP certification required
Recent graduates must have graduated within 12 months
Understanding of UNA Letter #29 prior to interview Join a supportive network as you transition into skilled nursing.
