Beginning September 1, 2026, this continuing role focuses on teaching secondary students in Trades Exploration, Wood Shop, and Metal Shop. Ideal candidates will possess a BC Teacher Certification and a relevant Bachelor of Education. The role requires educational preparation and instructional methodologies for high school technology education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct students in wood and metal working techniques
• Facilitate comprehensive Trades Exploration curriculum
• Conduct classes across multiple blocks in Semester 1 and Semester 2




• Encourage practical skills and project-based learning
• Assess student progress and develop educational strategies
Requirements:
• BC Teacher Certification required
• Bachelor of Education in secondary education
• Minimum 30 units of industrial education courses
• Teaching methodology relevant to the curriculum
• Strong passion for trades education and mentoring
