We’re expanding our technical team and looking for a Technical Consultant who’s passionate about woodworking and technology. You’ll play a key role in helping our clients adopt and master their software, guiding them through implementations, training, and personalized support.

About the Role

As a Technical Consultant, you’ll work with wood manufacturers across Canada — from small custom shops to large production facilities. Your job is to make sure their software setup reflects their real-world processes and positions them for success.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Leading new software implementations (Cabinet Vision or Alphacam)

- Providing remote and on-site training sessions

- Analyzing client workflows and advising on best practices

- Building or customizing User Created Standards (UCSs), reports, and configurations

- Supporting clients post-implementation as they grow into power users

- Collaborating with the sales team during pre-sales scoping, demos, and onboarding planning

- Understand the technical issues of the customers and propose adapted solutions

What You Bring

You're a natural problem solver and teacher. You know how things work in a shop,



and you get excited about translating those processes into technology that saves time and improves accuracy.

Requirements:

- Experience in the wood manufacturing industry (cabinetry, millwork, closets, etc.)

- Hands-on experience with Cabinet Vision or Alphacam, or other CAD/CAM systems

- Solid technical aptitude and eagerness to learn new tools

- Experience with CNC machinery, optimization, or production workflows

- Excellent communication and training skills

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to travel (within Canada), occasionally on short notice

- Bilingual (French/English) is a strong asset, especially for supporting Quebec clients
