Join Smarter Alloys as a Manufacturing Process Engineer and focus on scaling wire production efficiently. Optimize processes and drive quality improvements in a energetic setting.
As a key member of our team at Smarter Alloys, you will leverage your 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing to effectuate improvements across wire and finished goods production lines. Your responsibility will include analyzing current practices, collaborating with R&D; and quality teams, and leading initiatives that drive operational excellence and eliminate waste in our processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Improve wire production processes including shaping and finishing
• Implement lean techniques to reduce waste
• Document processes under QMS requirements
• Collaborate on quality control metrics
• Lead investigations into process performance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Materials or Engineering
• 2–5 years of relevant engineering experience
• Knowledge of ISO standards and SPC
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools
• Capable of self-directed work in high-tech environments
