In this position, you will take charge of safety initiatives at Strescon. Essential responsibilities include conducting orientations, performing safety audits, and facilitating safety talks. You will need to actively identify risks and develop corrective actions in collaboration with supervisors and management to cultivate a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safety orientations for new employees
• Assist in Job Safety Analysis and hazard assessments
• Conduct regular Health & Safety audits and report findings
• Implement daily inspections to ensure workplace safety
• Manage incident investigation and reporting processes
Requirements:
• Experience in an industrial safety role is advantageous
• Familiarity with safety regulations and requirements
• A professional safety designation is a plus
• Strong communication skills with management teams
• Possession of a valid Recent Brunswick Driver's License
