We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Montessori Lead Teacher in creating an enriching educational experience for our students. As a Montessori Assistant, you will contribute to the implementation of the Montessori method, promoting independence, curiosity, and a love for learning in our students.
Responsibilities
- Classroom Support: Assist the Montessori Lead Teacher in preparing and maintaining a well‑organized and engaging classroom environment.
- Student Guidance: Guide and support students in their daily activities, fostering independence and self‑confidence.
- Materials Preparation: Assist in the preparation and organization of Montessori materials, ensuring they are readily available for student use.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Montessori Lead Teacher and other team members to create a cohesive and supportive learning community.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents,
providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Observation: Actively observe and assess student behavior, learning styles, and developmental needs, contributing valuable insights to the educational planning process.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any relevant observations.
Qualifications
- Montessori Assistant Certification or relevant education/training.
- Previous Experience In a Montessori Setting Is Preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
- Passion for working with children and a commitment to the principles of the Montessori philosophy.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.

$22.00 per hour
