Reporting to the School Principal, the Child and Youth Worker position focuses on creating, implementing, and monitoring service plans tailored to support students' attendance and behavioral needs. Candidates should have a background in Child and Youth Care, along with a passion for fostering positive social interactions among students. This role requires working across schools, providing essential support, and implementing programs to enhance students' well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address attendance and behavioral concerns with responsive support




• Collaborate to deliver tiers 1 and 2 interventions
• Design and monitor service plans with in-school teams
• Implement evidence-informed programs for student support
• Provide crisis support as needed
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Child and Youth Care
• One year of relevant skilled experience
• Ability to build productive relationships with youth
• Experience in providing socio-emotional support
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Background check
