Join a agile team as a Manufacturing Engineer focused on cost reduction and process improvement in Ontario. Utilize your expertise in engineering and project management to enhance product quality and efficiency. This role requires a B.Sc. in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering and a Professional Engineer of Ontario designation.
With a minimum of five years' experience in high volume, high mix manufacturing (wood furniture or cabinetry is a plus), you will analyze manufacturing processes, implement changes, and document standard procedures. Your skills in lean manufacturing tools and project management will drive optimization. Key Responsibilities:
Lead projects to streamline manufacturing processes and reduce costs
Analyze current operations using Value Stream Mapping
Document work instructions, time standards, and bills of materials
Troubleshoot production and process issues thoroughly
Conduct market research and adopt industry best practices Requirements:
B.Sc. in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
Skilled Engineer of Ontario Designation (P. Eng.) required
At least five years of manufacturing engineering experience
Experience with lean manufacturing tools and Six Sigma workplace benefits
