Duties
Prepare fresh ingredients by chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning to meet recipe specifications and service needs
Cook menu items according to established standards, recipes, and presentation guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols
Assist in plating dishes efficiently for timely service during busy hours
Support the team by restocking supplies and ensuring all ingredients are properly stored and labeled
Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality at all times
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and uphold high standards of food presentation





Qualifications
Prior experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
Knowledge of cooking techniques, food handling safety, and sanitation practices in a restaurant environment
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently in a quick-paced setting
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency in meal preparation
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues during busy shifts
Familiarity with serving standards and customer service principles is a plus
Commitment to maintaining a safe kitchen environment following all health regulations
