Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation
Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards
Assist with plating dishes and ensuring timely service to guests
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management
Uphold excellent food service practices by working collaboratively with front-of-house staff
Experience
Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety standards
Knowledge of food handling regulations and proper sanitation procedures
Experience with serving guests in a quick-paced environment is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a busy kitchen setting
