Duties
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to support smooth kitchen operations
Cook a variety of dishes with attention to timing, temperature, and presentation, maintaining food safety protocols at all times
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal assembly and ensure timely service during busy hours
Follow food handling procedures diligently to uphold sanitation standards and prevent cross-contamination
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, cooking equipment, and storage areas throughout shifts




Support the overall food service experience by adhering to serving guidelines and assisting with meal plating when needed

Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar food industry role, preferably within a restaurant environment
Robust knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and front-of-house staff
Familiarity with serving standards and customer service expectations in a fast-paced setting
Basic culinary skills including knife handling, ingredient measurement, and meal assembly
Enthusiasm for learning new cooking techniques and expanding culinary knowledge
