Join Guelph YMCA as a Part time Lifeguard Instructor and Examiner starting August 2026. You'll teach National Lifeguard courses to help build essential aquatic safety skills amidst a supportive community. The YMCA of Three Rivers is hiring two Lifeguard Instructors with a passion for teaching.

Candidates should have experience in lifeguarding and aquatic leadership courses, aiming to instruct while fostering inclusivity. You will be responsible for course organization and participate in team training sessions. Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard courses
Prepare materials and equipment for classes
Develop both short-term and long-term lesson plans
Collaborate during staff meetings and training events
Build rapport with participants and fellow instructors Requirements:
At least 2 years of lifeguarding experience
Certification as a National Lifeguard Instructor
Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification
Robust interpersonal skills with community engagement
