Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Store Clerk to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and ensuring the store operates smoothly. The ideal candidate will be 19+ years of age and have robust communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Experience in retail sales is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in sales, customer service, and store operations within a dynamic workplace.

Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
Operate POS systems for cash handling and sales transactions accurately
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are properly stocked
Ability to safely lift up to 40lbs
Handle cash duties including processing payments via cash, credit, or digital methods
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store workplace
Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure smooth store operations




Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within shift hours and assist during busy periods
Open and adaptable availability for days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Experience
Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred
Familiarity with POS systems, basic math, and cash handling procedures is beneficial
Strong communication skills, phone etiquette, and organizational abilities are essential
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and part of a team
