Architect 7000 – 113 ST, Edmonton Remotely; however, the resource may be required to attend meetings or work sessions in office on reasonable notice from the Province. Contract 6 months The Remote Access Technical Architect provides support to the Service Manager and Service Owner to assist with day to day operational duties ensuring the services are operating at peak efficiency, and that the Service architecture is configured to minimize costs, and optimize the user and management experience. The Architect must understand the technical capabilities of the Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD) setting and be able to work in a cooperative manner with both the Service Provider and other technical teams in the GoA.

Standard Background Check Must-Have:

Experience developing on cloud platforms and utilizing cloud services in development –3 years

Experience in defining technical architecture, building technical environments –5 years

Experience in gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders across –5 years

Experience in multiple architecture domains e.g. business, application, technology –3 years

Experience with process improvement, documentation and requirement gathering 5 years





Experience with triaging technical issues/problems and troubleshooting –3 years

Experience with written and verbal communications including specific experience in –5 years

Nice-to-Have:

Experience collecting requirements, analyzing, designing or implementing M365 products… 1 years

Experience collecting requirements, analyzing, designing or implementing Microsoft –1 years

Experience in designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting –5 years

Experience in designing architecture to support remote work and/or field-based workers –5 years

Experience in developing current IT services including the development of service –3 years

Experience in IT infrastructure architecture and the relationships among the –1 years

Experience in the design, development and implementation of complex IT solutions –3 years

Experience with IT service management, IT service management applications, IT –3 years

Experience with User Acceptance Testing processes on large, complex systems –3 years

Experience working within an agile development environment –2 years

Perform IT and/or business-related analysis, diagnosis, problem-solving, use case –3 years
