Job Summary

The HCA is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. This is a casual, part‑time position.

Responsibilities
Assistance with personal care and hygiene
Meal preparation
Light housekeeping
Accompany clients on outings
Shopping and errands
Medication assistance/reminders
Ambulation and transporting of clients
Provide companionship to clients
Follow Care‑plan
Documentation/Charting

Qualifications




HCA certificate and registered to work in AB, or equivalent (foreign‑trained nurse, nursing student)
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain it
Negative TB skin test or chest X‑ray
Ability to travel within the location territory
Access to Internet/Mobile phone
