Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton. The Manager, Community Wellness is responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational functions that support effective program delivery and strategic alignment.
The role leads efforts to create a positive, inclusive work culture, while promoting continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and alignment with the Universities Strategic Framework. A key contributor to program success, this position ensures operational excellence through sound project management, resource planning, and data-driven decision-making.
The Wellness Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for wellness programming that fosters the multi-dimensional well-being of students at the university.
Development, implementation, and evaluation of health promotion initiatives, including prevention strategies that address mental, physical, and emotional health.
Working collaboratively with internal and external partners, the Wellness Manager leads a highly diverse team and ensures services are inclusive, accessible, evidence-informed, student-centered, and aligned with institutional priorities.
