Trent Community pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The Pharmacy Technician will perform a variety of duties including but not limited to: stocking, stocking accuracy, stocking replenishment, inventory control, and other pharmacy functions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a retail environment and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Stocking and accuracy of the pharmacy
Stocking replenishment of the pharmacy
Process incoming and outgoing pharmacy deliveries
Process prescription requests from patients’ insurance companies
Prepare, inspect, and label prescriptions accurately
Communicate with patients about their prescriptions
Communicate with management about patient needs or issues that arise
Maintain cleanliness of the pharmacy at all times including but not limited to cleaning of countertops, floors,
and bins
Perform other duties as assigned by management to maintain high quality of service provided to patients and internal staff
Experience & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience working in a retail environment preferred but not required
Experience working in a pharmacy facility preferred but not required
Experience with inventory control preferred but not required
Job Types: Full time, Part time Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
