Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a clinical setting and contribute to patient health and safety.

Duties
Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing
Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies to ensure stock levels are maintained
Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under pharmacist supervision
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards
Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing prescriptions
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy setting
Support medication administration processes as needed, including assisting with patient education

Qualifications




Prior hospital or pharmacy technician experience is highly preferred
Experience with Kroll.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
Experience in patient care environments is a plus
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
Knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance standards is advantageous
Certification or training in pharmacy assistance or related fields is a plus
