Role Description The Magazine Intern volunteer – Print Media will support the editorial and production processes for PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANT in a full-time, on-site role based in Mississauga, ON. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with article research, fact-checking, and drafting short pieces or features under editorial guidance. The intern will help coordinate with contributors, organize content for upcoming issues, and support magazine layout and print preparation.

Responsibilities may also include basic photography for stories, reviewing proofs,



and helping with distribution and promotional activities. The role offers exposure to skilled print media workflows and the accounting and business publishing environment.

Qualifications
Experience or robust interest in magazines and print publications, including understanding of editorial workflows.
Ability to conduct thorough research to support articles, features, and industry-focused content.
Basic photography skills for capturing images to accompany stories or events.
Interest or experience in sales or promotional activities related to magazine subscriptions, advertising, or outreach.
Solid written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in office in Mississauga, ON, collaborate with a small team, and manage multiple tasks responsibly.
Familiarity or interest in accounting, finance, or business topics is an asset.
Post-secondary studies in journalism, communications, media, business, or a related field are considered beneficial.
