Position Overview The successful candidate will be involved in:
Excavation for hydro pole installations
Trenching and utility work
Operating excavators and/or backhoes (as required)
Assisting crews with site preparation and project execution
Supporting storm response and emergency service calls

This role requires someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced field environment. Required Experience & Skills
Experience reading and understanding utility locates
Excavator and/or backhoe operating experience
Previous experience in excavation or utility construction
Strong understanding of job site safety practices
Ability to work long hours when required (50–65 hrs/week)
Willingness to participate in on-call rotation for emergencies and storm response
