Hospice Renfrew is a 6 bed hospice residence providing end-of-life comfort care and short-term stays for palliative pain and symptom management. We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses who wish to work in a positive and supportive patient-family centered work environment.

The Registered Nurse assumes a lead role in the hospice team by providing direct patient care and is responsible for supervision of care provided by Personal Support Workers and volunteers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Experience in community health, medical-surgical and/or critical care nursing an asset

Knowledge and expertise in palliative care/ pain and symptom management an asset

Proven leadership and critical thinking skills

Proven ability to meet people where they are and support them with compassion

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $40.48-$44.50 per hour
