Become an Indirect Tax Analyst with UBC, overseeing tax compliance and risk mitigation. This role involves managing GST, PST, and other indirect taxes to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. As a Tax Analyst, you’ll report to the Director of Treasury and collaborate with finance teams.
You will prepare tax returns, conduct reconciliations, and liaise with external advisors. The role emphasizes the application of tax laws and regulations to UBC's wide-ranging operations, focusing on minimizing tax risks and ensuring compliance with various tax requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly GST and PST returns
Manage provincial indirect tax returns, including MRDT
Conduct reconciliations of tax GLs with official returns
Liaise with external advisors for tax-related queries
Support during tax audits by gathering necessary documentation Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in a relevant field
Enrolled in the CPA Qualified Education Program
Minimum of three years of related experience
