SYSTRA Canada is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Designer to contribute to transit projects across Ontario. Your expertise will be crucial in environmental assessments and soil management while ensuring regulatory compliance. This role requires over 10 years of experience in environmental assessments, with a focus on Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and Excess Soil Management.
Your P.Eng. or P.Geo license and QPESA designation will be your tools for designing foundations and conducting soil investigations, along with analyzing geotechnical data. You'll maintain solid client relationships and engage in peer reviews of technical reports. Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical services for environmental assessments
Design foundations and retaining structures
Conduct site investigations and soil sampling
Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater conditions
Perform reviews of other staff's technical work Requirements:
10+ years in environmental assessments and excess soil
P.Eng. or P.Geo license and QPESA designation
University degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
Extensive knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04
