About the Role
The Company is a leading global asset manager with a focus on various investment sectors, including real estate, infrastructure, renewable energy, private equity, credit, and insurance solutions. They are currently seeking a Vice President, Investments to join their Capital Markets team, with a specific focus on the infrastructure strategy. The successful candidate will be a key member of the acquisition financing team, responsible for sourcing and structuring debt financing to support global infrastructure investment initiatives. This role is highly visible and involves extensive cross-functional interaction,
including collaboration with internal investment and asset management teams to analyze and optimize capital structures for new acquisitions and existing portfolio investments.
Applicants for the Vice President, Investments position should have a minimum of 6 years' experience, predominantly in investment banking, private credit, direct lending, or a similar role, with a preference for those with a background in debt advisory or capital markets. Direct experience in origination, structuring, and execution of debt transactions in the infrastructure sector is essential. The role requires the ability to manage all aspects of the financing process, from structuring and negotiating to syndicating and documenting recent financing. The ideal candidate will be an analytic and strategic thinker, with excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, global team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also a must, as the role involves maintaining positive relationships with a wide variety of external and internal stakeholders.
