About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President, Engineering and Manufacturing Operations to spearhead the next phase of operational excellence, innovation, and growth. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong background in food or confectionery manufacturing, dedicated to driving the engineering strategy and technical execution of the company's manufacturing systems. This pivotal role involves leading the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, production lines, and facility infrastructure. The Vice President will also be responsible for directing capital engineering projects, overseeing manufacturing and maintenance engineering, and ensuring that all systems meet regulatory, food safety, and quality standards.





Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with a professional engineer designation or eligibility for licensure in Canada. A minimum of 10 years' experience in manufacturing operations, including at least 5 years in senior leadership, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in process optimization, operational excellence, and cost reduction initiatives, as well as deep knowledge of food safety regulations and manufacturing best practices. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, along with a strategic, results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. The role also involves strategic and financial oversight, including the development and management of capital investment plans and participation in the Executive Leadership Team.
