As part of the team, you will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, taking ownership of inventory management and procurement functions. Your responsibilities will encompass managing purchase orders, coordinating with the Supply Chain Management team, and ensuring safety equipment issuance. This position is crucial for minimizing the administrative burden on supervisors, allowing for smoother site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inventory levels using min/max strategies
• Create and manage Purchase Orders for various stock items
• Generate Service Orders for on-site vendors
• Oversee safety equipment issuance and returns
• Collaborate with operations for timely material availability
Requirements:
• Valid Journeyman Materials Technician certification
• Minimum 5 years of industrial warehousing experience
• Forklift certification required
• Proficient in CMMS, Hexagon EAM preferred
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
