This unscheduled position requires availability across various shifts, including weekends and holidays. You will assist the Recreation Therapist in implementing dynamic programming tailored for individuals in the Community Alzheimer Program, ensuring their safety and active participation. Your responsibilities also include documenting progress and managing program resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in implementing recreation programs for dementia participants
• Ensure the well-being and safety of individuals during activities
• Provide direct support and care as needed




• Record participant progress during service planning
• Manage program supplies and resources efficiently
Requirements:
• Diploma in Recreation or relevant experience
• Knowledge of best practices for dementia care
• Must be versatile with scheduling requirements
• Excellent communication skills and human relations
• Police Vulnerable Sector Check is mandatory
