Job Description

Rite-Hite Apprentice Technicians will assist with install, maintenance, and repair of loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities throughout the Toronto and outlying areas. In addition, a Service Technician Apprentice acts as a technical resource for our customers and our sales force. This position works independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and is a primary customer contact.

Responsibilities

- Assist with install, maintenance, and repair of loading dock equipment and industrial doors.

- Serve as a primary customer contact.

Qualifications

- Experience welding and working with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Prior experience in the repair or installation of industrial equipment is preferred.




- Selected candidate must be able to work independently in a field environment.
- Good customer service skills are required.
- Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds.
- Good driving record required due to company vehicle use.
