Join our team as an Electrical Field Service Technician, focusing on diagnosing and repairing electromechanical systems for GSE. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with customer interaction both in-house and on-site.
We are looking for an experienced technician to maintain and troubleshoot complex AC/DC generators ranging from 2 to 144 kW. You will work on 60 and 400 Hz systems, ensuring that inspections and repairs meet our high standards. Valuable communication skills and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and prepare work-order quotes for generator repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems
• Perform tests on electromechanical assemblies
• Install and disassemble generators and related components
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
Requirements:
• 3-5+ years in hands-on electrical diagnostics
• Must read electrical schematics and drawings
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence
• Ability to travel on short notice
• Criminal background check clearance
