As a Senior Editor, you’ll engage with both agents and current authors to identify compelling nonfiction projects, guiding the editing process for up to 12 annual titles.
Your abilities in project management, P&L; generation, and market trend analysis will help you strategically position these titles for success. Building relationships within the industry will allow you to effectively represent HarperCollins and foster a diverse publishing program. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct substantive and line edits on manuscripts
Acquire nonfiction titles with solid market potential
Create compelling presentations and metadata for publications
Liaise regularly with the Editor in Chief
