Role Description The Equipment Manager (Hockey) is a contract, on-site role located in Georgetown, ON, responsible for the daily management, maintenance, and organization of team equipment. This includes preparing and setting up equipment for practices and games, ensuring players have properly fitted gear, and maintaining inventory of sticks, uniforms, protective gear, and accessories. The role involves skate sharpening, minor equipment repairs, and coordinating with coaches, trainers, and suppliers to ensure all equipment meets safety and performance standards.





The Equipment

Manager will also track equipment usage, manage laundry and cleaning of team gear, support travel logistics for equipment on road games, and maintain an orderly, safe equipment room and storage areas.

Qualifications
Experience with hockey equipment management, including fitting, maintenance, and basic repairs.
Knowledge of skate sharpening techniques and secure use of related tools and machinery.
Robust organizational and inventory management skills to track equipment, uniforms, and supplies.
Ability to work closely with coaches, trainers, players, and vendors with clear, respectful communication.
Capacity to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and transporting equipment.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and travel with the team as required during the season.
Attention to detail and commitment to player safety and cleanliness of equipment and facilities.
Previous experience in hockey operations or equipment roles is an asset; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
