AT THIS TIME WE ARE HIRING PART-TIME QUALIFIED OR NON QUALIFIED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS THE WEST NIPSSING CHILD CARE CORPORATION HAS POSITIONS FOR EDUCATORS

SALARY

QUALIFIED RECE: $23.90 TO 24.60 PER HOUR + $2.00 PER HOUR WAGE ENHANCEMENT

NON-QUALIFIED: $19.55 per hour + $2.00 PER HOUR WAGE ENHANCEMENT

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Supervisor and Executive Director, the Educator works closely with children. The Educator is required to plan and develop age appropriate programs following the Corporation policies and the Child Care Early Years Act.

REQUIREMENTS
Registered Early Childhood Educator Diploma is preferable.
Must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators.
Requires a current first aid/CPR Level C certificate
Current Vulnerable Sector Check
Provide current immunization records




Working knowledge of How Does Learning Happen
Possess excellent written and communication skills in both French and English preferred
Must be punctual, reliable, adaptable and outgoing.
Must be able to demonstrate ongoing career development involvement by attending workshops and in- house training.

Develop age appropriate programs to enhance the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development according the Corporation program statement and philosophy.
Capable of implementing How Does Learning Happen through observations, reflections, documentation and curriculum planning.
Engage each child individually each day and make every effort to greet every parent and guardian.
