Responsibilities
Create a secure, welcoming classroom environment that promotes exploration and learning for children of various ages and abilities.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Provide attentive caregiving by meeting individual needs, including feeding, diapering, and comforting children as required.
Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance.
Foster positive relationships with children and their families through clear communication and regular updates on progress.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, developmental milestones, and behavioral observations.




Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and best practices.

Requirements
Certified Alberta Early Childcare Certification : Level 1,2 or 3
First Aid and Standard CPR Certification
Vulnerable Sector Check
Proven experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings.
Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and development stages.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
Classroom experience that demonstrates the ability to manage group activities effectively.
Ability to follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure environment for all children.
