Duties & Responsibilities
Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable legislation
Mentor and oversee a team of approximately 5 - 10 skilled trade workers, licensed and apprentices
Assign tasks and follow up on progress
Schedule outside contractors as required
Monitor supply of spare parts and ordering replacement parts as required
Assist and guide trade personnel as required (repairs, troubleshooting)
Complete administrative duties, (reports, MP2 CMMS, vacations)

Skills, Education & Experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a licensed technician.
Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Mechanic (421A) OR Red Seal Truck and Coach Technician (310T)



with extensive equipment experience
Experience with diesel lift-trucks, loaders, and other heavy equipment
Experience working with Diesel Mi-jack Gantry Cranes repair and maintenance considered an asset
Previous leadership experience is an asset.

Rate of pay is $92,000 - $112,000 per year based on experience.
