Unilock is seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist in Georgetown, Ontario to manage exact biweekly payroll processing for about 300 employees. This role emphasizes accuracy and strong organizational skills within a multi-location setup. In this administrative role, you will act as the first point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, assisting both staff and management.
You'll oversee maintaining accurate payroll data in the Human Capital Management system, and you will hold accountability for reconciling general ledger accounts and resolving discrepancies. Emphasizing compliance with relevant payroll legislation will be a key aspect. Key Responsibilities:
Manage biweekly payroll for multi-location employees
Update and maintain payroll data and employee information
Reconcile payroll accounts and adjust as necessary
Train employees on payroll inquiries
Collaborate on payroll tax matters with third parties Requirements:
Background in Accounting, Finance, or HR
A decade of payroll experience in Canada
Skilled with payroll management systems, UKG preferred
Payroll designation (PCP/PLP) is a valuable asset
