Become the technical authority for Integrated Bridge Navigation Systems at J.D. Irving, Limited. Lead development and integration efforts for the River Class Destroyer Program and engage stakeholders effectively.

As an IBNS Capability Lead, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of navigation capabilities for Canada’s naval fleet. Your role is critical in ensuring program success through design, integration, and stakeholder management. You will also guide the engineering team and mitigate any technical risks related to IBNS capabilities, making this an impactful position in naval shipbuilding.

Key Responsibilities:



• Lead IBNS-related program activities and oversight • Manage the engineering team and processes • Assess and mitigate technical risks for IBNS • Interface with the Royal Canadian Navy and subcontractors • Support production, testing, and final acceptance activities

Requirements: • Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) and P.Eng. designation • Technical Authority experience in ship systems • Solid knowledge of maritime Combat Systems • Ability to analyze complex system designs • Experience managing subcontractor performance
