Heavy Equipment Operator (Excavator)

RGM Holdings Ltd. is a well-established logging contractor based in Cranbrook, BC, operating multiple logging crews throughout the East Kootenay region. We are committed to maintaining a safe, qualified, and respectful workplace while delivering high-quality forestry services.

We are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team.

Position Responsibilities The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for:
Trail building
Reclamation work
Some road building
Operating safely and confidently in steep terrain
Performing daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance
Operating equipment safely and efficiently while following company safety procedures

Qualifications
Previous excavator operating experience is required
Must be comfortable and experienced operating excavators in steep terrain
Logging or forestry experience is considered an asset, but is not required
Valid Class 5 driver's licence
Robust work ethic and the ability to work independently
