The Silver Springs Community Association is seeking energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced dance instructors to join our growing recreational dance program. Our goal is to provide children with a fun, welcoming, and affordable environment where they can develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of dance.
We are currently seeking instructors with experience teaching children ages 3–12 years in one or more of the following disciplines:
Pre-Dance
Ballet
Jazz
Hip Hop
Lyrical / Contemporary
Acro Dance
Musical Theatre
Applicants who are comfortable teaching multiple disciplines and a variety of age groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
What We're Looking For
Successful applicants will have:
Previous experience teaching dance to children (required)
Strong communication and classroom management skills
An understanding of age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate instruction
The ability to create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning workplace
A passion for helping children build confidence through movement
A collaborative attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Reliability,
professionalism, and a commitment to providing high-quality instruction

Position Details
Location: Silver Springs Community Association, Calgary, AB
Season: September to June (following the school calendar)
Schedule: Wednesday and/or Thursday 4:15pm - 6:45pm
Employment: Part time, Contract or Seasonal (depending on availability)
