Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CWB Rig Welder with line boring experience to join our team.

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil, Gas, H.D. and Marine and bridging.
Valid Journeyperson Welder certificate/ticket.
Heavy Machinery experience welding/operating
Willing to meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
CSTS-2020
Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
WHMIS
Possess the mandatory welding tickets:
CWB
FCAW/GMAW/SMAW
Rate pay depending on machining, H.D. servicing, and lineboring experience

The Welder will be responsible for operating their service trucks as well as ours, welding, fabricating, line boring on heavy equipment and marine. Experience on highway bridging, metal components, reading and interpreting blueprints, and operating power tools and heavy equipment. We also service, linebore, and CNC machine on heavy equipment and marine, on site and are willing to train the right person.

Duties
Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding, air arc, aluminum welding, stainless, mild steel.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications




Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components
Utilize power tools and equipment for cutting, grinding, and shaping metal
Conduct quality inspections to ensure welded structures meet standards

Skills
Proficiency in rigging and welding techniques
Experience with Plasma cutting and fabrication
Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
Solid mathematical skills for basic calculations
Knowledge of assembling components using power tools

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive for the position and may require completion of drug and alcohol testing on site contracts. Note: this is for contract rig welders only for 2026/2027. Contracts extended to the right fit.
