Be an integral part of Teck’s Health and Safety team as a Safety Coordinator in Trail, BC. This on-site role revolves around ensuring safety compliance and fostering a protected working ecosystem. Reporting to the Superintendent, Health and Safety, the Safety Coordinator will inspect work areas, monitor safety compliance, and lead safety training sessions.

Proven communication skills and a commitment to health and safety best practices are crucial for this role’s success. You will support protected project execution and conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the establishment of a safety-focused culture
Report on safety practices and inspect work conditions




Verify adherence to Health and Safety legislation
Assist with incident investigations and training o• Monitor Health and Safety compliance effectively Requirements:
College Diploma or Degree in Health & Safety
At least 5 years in heavy industry safety roles
Aspiration for Canadian Registered Safety Qualified certification
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with projects or turnarounds is advantageous Drive health and safety efforts at Teck’s Trail Operations to protect all personnel and enhance operational efficiency.
