Job Summary

Bar Caffettiera is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Cashier to join our café team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, provides excellent customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced coffee shop environment.

As a Customer Service Cashier, you'll welcome guests, process orders and payments, assist with takeaway service, and help create a warm and inviting atmosphere for every customer. Your positive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to outstanding service will play an significant role in delivering an exceptional café experience.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
Process cash, debit, credit card, and mobile payment transactions.
Answer customer questions and recommend menu items.
Prepare takeaway and pickup orders with accuracy.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked cashier station.
Restock beverages, pastries, cups, and café supplies.
Work closely with baristas and kitchen staff to ensure productive service.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures.
Assist with opening and closing café operations as required.

Qualifications




Previous experience in a café, restaurant, retail, or customer service role is an asset.
Experience using POS systems is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service and cash-handling abilities.
Ability to multitask in a busy café setting.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
Adaptable availability, including weekends and holidays.
