Junior Accounting Assistant (AP/AR) – Cambridge, ON

Full-Time In-Office Manufacturing Environment Salary: $50,000–$55,000 CAD per year

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail‑driven Junior Accounting Assistant to support our AP/AR functions and daily accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who wants hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.

What You’ll Do
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Enter financial data into QuickBooks and internal systems
Prepare and maintain invoices, purchase orders, and payment records
Assist with bank deposits, account reconciliations.
Assist with expense reports
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Respond to vendor and customer inquiries
Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems
Provide general administrative support to the accounting team

What You Bring
Diploma/certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a Canadian institution. Recent grads welcome.
Experience with QuickBooks
Basic understanding of AP/AR processes and accounting principles
Solid attention to detail and accuracy




Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook
Clear communication skills and a positive, professional attitude. Must be fluent in English.

Nice to Have
Previous AP/AR or co‑op experience
Interest in manufacturing or cost accounting
Solid organizational and problem‑solving skills

Work Environment
In-office, Monday to Friday
Standard business hours
Computer-based work with occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs)
