The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machine Operator is a full-time, in office position based at Cassidy Manufacturing Technology LTD in Winnipeg, MB. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision components according to specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, selecting and installing tooling, loading materials, performing machine offsets and adjustments, and measuring finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.

The CNC Machine Operator will also perform routine machine maintenance, document production activities, and collaborate with supervisors and quality personnel to resolve issues and optimize production efficiency. Adherence to safety procedures,



cleanliness, and productive workflow on the shop floor are essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Machine Operation and Machinery handling, including experience with CNC equipment.
Candidates should possess skills in Milling and Machining for producing precision components to tight tolerances.
Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, including inspection, use of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges), and documentation of results.
Previous experience in a CNC machining or manufacturing environment is highly beneficial.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Good mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Comfort working in a fast-paced production workplace and standing for extended periods.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship in machining is an asset.
