The Emergency

Department seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse, reporting to the Patient Care Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a baccalaureate degree in Nursing and at least two years of recent emergency experience. You will be involved in patient assessment, intervention, education, and team-oriented teamwork which emphasizes the philosophy of Person-Focused Care. Key Responsibilities:
Assess and intervene in trauma and emergency cases
Educate patients and families on care processes




Advocate for patient needs within a multidisciplinary team
Support quality improvement initiatives and nursing council participation
Integrate critical thinking in fast-paced situations Requirements:
Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred
Two years of recent emergency experience
Current A.C.L.S. Certification
