Join the Child Development Institute as a Hybrid Accountant and play a pivotal role in financial operations supporting children's mental health programs. This position combines financial oversight with leadership in a team-oriented team setting. As a member of the Finance team reporting to the Senior Manager, you will oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and manage compliance with relevant regulations.

You will lead month-end and year-end processes while providing guidance to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Your work will be integral to enhancing CDI's mission and sustaining its impactful programs. Key Responsibilities:
Lead overall accounting functions and reporting tasks
Ensure compliance with fund accounting and grants




Support annual audits and financial controls
Provide leadership and training to the accounting team
Drive process improvements within the finance department Requirements:
Progressive experience in accounting roles with a finance focus
Background in nonprofit or fund-based accounting preferred
Experience facilitating audits and compliance activities
Leadership or coaching experience in finance
Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems Make a meaningful impact through financial leadership in this role at the Child Development Institute.
