Sheguiandah First Nation is hiring a Registered Early Childhood Educator to create a positive learning environment at the BINOJIINH KINOOMAAGE-GAMIK Early Years Centre. Full time hours are from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This role supports children’s development through culturally relevant programming under the direction of the Education Manager.

As an RECE, you will engage with children and their families, fostering a connection to community culture and heritage. Your planning will include activities that reflect the diverse needs of the children while ensuring alignment with Ministry guidelines. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and evaluate developmentally appropriate activities
Incorporate community culture in educational materials




Supervise and support daily educational programs
Report on student behavior and progress
Maintain a secure and clean educational setting Requirements:
Must be registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators
Current First Aid and CPR certification required
Relevant experience with children and families is essential
Solid interpersonal and communication abilities
Knowledge of Sheguiandah First Nation is a plus Lead educational initiatives that celebrate community heritage while guiding young learners in their development.
