Duties
Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold food safety standards
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and supplies for meal service
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, floors, and storage areas to ensure a protected and hygienic environment
Support the food handling process by following proper sanitation procedures during meal prep and service
Help with waste disposal and recycling efforts to keep the kitchen organized and environmentally friendly
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely setup and breakdown of dining areas during service hours
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, cleaning procedures, and workplace safety
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
Basic understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
Strong attention to detail when cleaning and organizing kitchen spaces
