Elk Valley Resources is hiring a Social Responsibility Intern for September 2026 in British Columbia. Get real-world experience while you support Indigenous partnerships and community engagement. This co-op is suited for Undergraduates in Social Sciences, Indigenous Studies, or Business Administration.
You will oversee the Impact Management and Advantages Agreement workplan, engage with Indigenous groups, and implement public engagement strategies. The role also involves monitoring social performance and fostering a solid commitment to health and safety. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and report on IMBA workplan activities
Support annual and special reviews of agreements
Prepare public engagement communications
Maintain social tracking and reporting systems
Coordinate event planning and preparations Requirements:
Pursuing a relevant Undergraduate degree
Class 5 Driver's License preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Robust familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work under pressure with confidentiality Contribute to social responsibility efforts with Elk Valley Resources while enjoying outdoor adventures in the Elk Valley.
